The Fairview Junior-Senior High School Reunion Corporation ("FRC") was established in 1999 as an Internal Revenue Service 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization under the leadership of then President Benny L. Lockett.  The FRC was formed to address the needs and concerns of its members and the larger Linden/Cass County, Texas community.

The alumni of the FRC were concerned about the lack of a community center for organized activities, the need for continuing education programs for both youth and adults, and for increased college scholarships for deserving students.
